SIT Global Scholars on Here and Now
September 7th, 2017 | SIT
SIT Graduate Institute launched the Global Scholars Program in October 2016 in response to the growing global refugee crisis and the rising tide of xenophobia and isolationism in the United States and around the world. Our first cohort of refugee scholars recently participated in a roundtable at the Harvard Faculty Club, where they talked with Robin Young, co-host of the popular WBUR/NPR news program Here & Now, about what they faced at home and as refugees, and the extraordinary ways they have chosen to meet those challenges.
Click below to hear some of their stories of courage and hope, and please DONATE NOW to support these courageous young leaders and those who will follow in the SIT Global Scholars Program.
