  • Institutional Plans

Guided by our mission and informed by our community and partners, SIT has developed concrete, comprehensive plans to achieve our vision and provide students with extraordinary experiential learning opportunities.

  • Our Global Network

SIT is the pioneer in experiential, field-based programs abroad. All of our programs are supported by long-standing relationships within communities around the world. Our highly trained staff are representative of the larger world in which we work. Our field centers employ mainly local citizens as lecturers, facilitators, program assistants, and other supporting staff. These host-country nationals provide vital connections and insight into the communities where our students study and live. The range of their personal and academic experiences enhances their commitment to fostering an atmosphere of understanding, learning, and growth for each and every student.
