Dr. Kenneth Williams named Dean of SIT Graduate Institute

SIT President Dr. Sophia Howlett has announced the appointment of Dr. Kenneth Williams as dean of SIT Graduate Institute.
“Ken stepped into the role of interim dean mid-way through 2016 and has provided consistent leadership since that time,” said Dr. Howlett. “I look forward to my continued partnership with Ken and the entire SIT Graduate Institute faculty and staff as we continue to build toward the future.”
“This is an exciting time at SIT; a time when our immersive, global education is perhaps more important than ever,” said Dr. Williams. “I look forward to collaborating with our new president and our outstanding faculty and staff to advance this important work.”
Dr. Williams completed his doctorate in organization and leadership at Columbia University and his master’s degree at the London School of Economics. His interests and research include leadership development, multicultural organizational development, change management, educational administration and reform, and developing learning organizations in NGO and for-profit management.
Dr. Williams is a member of Kappa Delta Pi, the American Educational Research Association, and the Academy of Human Resource Development. He has worked, studied, and/or lived in Barbados, Bangladesh, Bermuda, Jamaica, Oman, Tanzania, Thailand, Trinidad and Tobago, Uganda, the UK, the United States, and Zimbabwe.
