Yeshe Sherpa

Yeshe Sherpa is a ninth grade special education educator in New York City. As an alumna of SIT, she is thrilled to work as a launch coordinator for the same program that nurtured me as an undergraduate. Sherpa served in the Peace Corps in Morocco as a youth development specialist for nine months. Her service was unfortunately disrupted due to COVID. Since returning to NYC, Sherpa continued working in marginalized communities through social services and education and this May, she received a master’s in special education.
