Violeta Compan

Violeta was born and raised in Buenos Aires. She graduated as a tour guide in 2007 and has since worked in the tourism environment. She has guided groups in her hometown and coordinated tourist trips throughout Argentina, managing accommodations, excursions, and other services. In 2008, Violeta moved to Tierra del Fuego to work as a tour guide and fell in love with the geography and community. In 2012, she began working for Argentina’s Ministry of Tourism, traveling around the country to promote national destinations. She returned to Ushuaia in 2013, where she became an active member of the tourism community. She is currently completing a bachelor’s degree in geology at the National University of Tierra del Fuego. She enjoys sharing the wonders that Ushuaia has to offer, including beautiful landscapes, gourmet cuisine, and outdoor activities.
