Varshini Srinivasan, MA

Varshini Srinivasan has an MA in social-organizational psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University. She also holds an advanced certificate in cooperation and conflict resolution and is currently pursuing her PhD in peace and conflict studies at the UN Mandated University for Peace. Over the years, Varshini has taken on a variety of roles as an elementary school teacher, adult educator and trainer, instructional designer, and diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) practitioner. Her research interests lie at the intersection of peace studies and education, and she is keen to explore how various learning environments might use embodied movement as a peace pedagogy. In her spare time, Varshini likes to read, go on long bike rides, and cook big meals for her friends and loved ones.
