Utei Charaleghy Pamphila (Ella) rejoined SIT Indonesia in spring 2020, after previously working for the program in 2014-2016 as a language instructor. In July 2025, Ella became the academic coordinator, responsible for managing the academic components of the program. She regularly engages in language teaching and organizing guest lectures, workshops, and educational forums to enrich students’ educational experiences. Ella holds a bachelor’s with honors in English language and literature and a master’s degree in linguistics, both from Udayana University. While living in Melbourne between 2016 and 2019, she worked as an Indonesian language tutor for Australian learners and as an exams marker. Her experience in the educational field in and outside Indonesia contributes to her understanding of the academic learning process and challenges encountered by foreign students in Indonesia.
