University Relations Manager for the Northeast Region: Connecticut, New Jersey, New York

Tye brings over a decade of experience at the intersection of international education, human rights, and strategy to her work in higher education and beyond. She has held senior roles at institutions including Emory University and Louisiana State University, where she launched innovative student programs such as Passport to Emory, managed global fellowships, and led international partnerships across Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. She previously served as a study abroad advisor and CLS Resident Director in Amman, Jordan. She has read for national fellowship programs including CLS, Fulbright, and the Fund for Education Abroad. Tye studied abroad in Egypt, later returning to earn her master’s in international and comparative law in Cairo.

Prior to her work in higher ed, Tye worked at The Carter Center on democracy and human rights initiatives, collaborating with senior leaders, UN officials, and global policymakers. She later transitioned to strategy consulting at BCG BrightHouse, where she specialized in public sector storytelling, cross-sector innovation, and multi-city creative productions. A passionate educator and systems thinker, Tye has taught and mentored students in debate, law, and life design, and has served as a guest lecturer and LSAT instructor. She is also an accomplished performer and creative producer, with a deep commitment to cultural heritage, sustainability, and equity.
