Mwima Arbogast Maugo

Mwima works with SIT as a wildlife, gender, and culture expert. Previously, she worked with Ranger Safari, an ecotourism company, and as assistant lecturer at the National College of Tourism in Mwanza Region. She also served as curator and cultural expert at Bujora Sukuma Museum in Mwanza. Mwima holds a bachelor’s degree in tourism and cultural heritage from the University of Dodoma and a postgraduate diploma in wildlife management from the College of African Wildlife Management, Mweka. Her dissertation focused on the decline of cultural values and practices among the Chagga community in Mweka society.
