Marianne has had a varied career in nonprofit organizations including higher education, legal advocacy, international relations, and the arts. She has traveled extensively in Europe, North Africa, Asia, and Central America.

A lifelong learner, Marianne earned her BA at New York University with a degree in English literature and French language, and a JD from Northeastern University. She is currently enrolled in the MEd program at Boston University. As an undergraduate, she studied at NYU’s program in Paris. Her son and several nieces were Experimenters, so she understands the parent’s perspective on sending a teen student off for an international experience.

Marianne’s purpose is helping people of all ages to develop their potential and increase their cultural awareness. She is dedicated to helping teens and young adults identify their strengths and interests so that they can choose the best educational program. Marianne lives in western Massachusetts. She loves Vermont, where she swims, hikes, skis, paints, and visits her family.
