Mahmoud S. Shafie, PhD

Dr. Mahmoud Shafie joined School for International Training in 2007. Prior, he taught Arabic to foreigners at the Language Center of the University of Jordan.

He is the author of the “Noon wal Qalam” series for teaching Arabic to non-native speakers, which is the textbook used at SIT. He has co-written additional works, including the “Ad-Dhad” series (Dhad Institute for TASOL, University of Nizwa, 9 levels) and “Noor al-Arabiya” (Islamic Services Foundation, USA) with Dr. Waleed Anati. A member of the Jordanian Writers Society, he has also published two novels.
