Ly Gia Yen, PhD

Ly Gia Yen graduated with a Chinese Language Teacher Education degree from Ho Chi Minh City University of Education, one of the most prestigious universities in Vietnam. She is of Vietnamese-Chinese heritage and was born and raised in Chợ Lớn, a Chinese section of Ho Chi Minh City. She lived and studied in China for nearly a decade.

She has a PhD in education studies. Her research covered topics related to Chinese higher education abroad, teacher professionalization, economic education, and practical methods for teaching the Chinese language to Vietnamese students.

She is currently a lecturer at Ho Chi Minh City University of Education.
