Lindsay joined SIT Study Abroad in 2016. Lindsay’s previous work experience includes working as an Assistant Field Director for Semester at Sea, an Assistant Program Manager of residential living for children and adults with neurodivergent needs and cofounding a nonprofit in Guatemala that focused on experiential learning, cultural immersion, well-being, and community empowerment. She developed a deep passion for mindfulness and well-being practices through her almost 20 years as a yoga and meditation teacher trainer. She now utilizes her previous experience to help empower students to proactively manage their mental health, improve intercultural competence, and cultivate well-being while studying abroad.
