Krystal Booker-Reusch, MA

Krystal joins SIT as a custom program manager, bringing over a decade of experience in global education. Before joining SIT, Krystal served as a customer enablement specialist at Terra Dotta, where she coached various SIT partner institutions in leveraging technology to enhance their study abroad processes and advance campus internationalization. Prior to that, she worked as the global education program manager at the University of Colorado, Denver, where she administered faculty-led programs and championed initiatives to increase access to international opportunities for underserved student populations.

Her professional journey also includes roles as a program coordinator at the University of Denver where she supported English language learners and advised students studying abroad in Italy, Thailand, and Oceania, and dually as a study abroad and international student advisor at Johnson & Wales University-Denver. An experienced presenter, she has facilitated sessions at education conferences on topics such as cultural competencies for first-generation students and study abroad returnees, supporting VA education benefit users abroad, and fostering creative global partnerships.

Krystal holds a bachelor of arts in international studies with a minor in Japanese from the University of South Carolina, where her transformative study abroad experience in Taiwan sparked her enthusiasm for global education. Shortly afterwards, she earned a master of arts in teaching from Converse University.
