Enrique Teran, PhD

Dr. Enrique Teran is a medical doctor and holds a PhD in Pharmacology. He is a professor at the School of Medicine at the Universidad San Francisco de Quito, in Ecuador. For over 25 years, he has been involved in research with an interest in oxidative stress, chronic/metabolic and infectious diseases, and pharmacogenetics, as well as in public policies and regulatory pathways. He has published more than 100 papers in peer-review journals. He is a member of the Ecuadorian Academy of Medicine and the Academy of Sciences of Ecuador.
