Courtney Bauman joined SIT Study Abroad as a university relations manager in September 2021. Courtney’s career in international education spans nearly two decades. Prior to joining SIT Study Abroad, she worked as a university relations coordinator for USAC Study Abroad for two years and spent almost 10 years in the role of assistant director of study abroad at the University of Texas at Arlington. Before joining the field of education abroad in the U.S., Courtney worked as an ESL teacher in northern Mexico and served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Namibia. She holds a Master of Arts in Intercultural Service, Leadership, and Management from SIT Graduate Institute. Courtney has been a member of the NAFSA Region III leadership team since 2017 and currently serves as the training coordinator. Courtney is based in Austin, Texas.
