Chimene Nukunah, PhD

Dr. Chimene Nukunah has spent the past 17 years in higher education, teaching and managing qualifications at multiple levels. She has extensive knowledge and experience in various educational activities including research, teaching (face-to-face and online), student support, staff management, leadership development, report writing and reviewing and customer and client services. She completed her PhD in management studies with the University of South Africa (UNISA) where she presented a framework that can be used as a starting point to decolonize management education in response to calls from the #FeesMustFall and #RhodesMustFall movements.

Her master’s degree, which she completed from the same university, focused on the effectiveness of training and development on customized programs in the banking sector in South Africa. Dr. Nukunah shares her experience in research, environmental management, and sustainability with postgraduate students. She has also facilitated customized programs on women and leadership and diversity, and has supervised and co-supervised several MBA students. She has published and co-published articles in accredited journals and presented at international conferences.
