Caitlynne Goodlett

Caitlynne joins SIT Study Abroad as a Custom Programs Manager after serving as the assistant director for study away and international education at Furman University. Since 2018, Caitlynne has served as an advisor, facilitator, and leader within Furman University where she managed all aspects of pre-departure and returnee programming, student advising and communication, campus collaborations, and affiliate and exchange program partnerships. In 2023, she co-led a short-term May program across England, France, and Belgium studying the concept of remembrance and memorial in the context of WWI on modern society and politics.

Caitlynne is a results-focused international education professional with experience in global partnerships, marketing and recruitment, and program development in higher education. As a global advocate, Caitlynne is passionate about increasing accessibility, inclusion, and belonging within program design and structure. In addition to serving as the alternate responsible officer for incoming exchange students, she has served on several committees encompassing DEI staff training, global student inclusion, and most recently the Forum’s working group on supporting trans and non-binary students in education abroad.

Completing multiple academic terms abroad and working internationally as an English teacher in France, global education has been at the forefront of Caitlynne’s life. Fueled by her transformative experiences, she became a vocal advocate for international education and looks forward to creating immersive and impactful global programs.

Caitlynne completed her bachelor of arts in anthropology and French with a minor in peace and justice studies at Gettysburg College, and holds certificates from NAFSA in executive internationalization leadership and J-1 advising.
