Bárbara Costa has worked as an assistant professor at the Polytechnic University of Leiria, Portugal, where she taught digital marketing and communication, semiotics, and multimedia content production. She has also worked in corporate communications, handling internal communications, public relations, event planning, multimedia production, digital strategies and content, and social media accounts. She has worked as a production assistant in television advertising projects for clients such as IKEA, Volvo, Volkswagen, and Decathlon. She has also been active in youth and climate nongovernmental organizations, designing digital campaigns, narratives, and social media content, and attending United Nations climate change conferences. She holds a master’s degree in marketing and communication, specializing in corporate social responsibility communication.
