Ana-Cristina (AC) Medal has eight years of higher education experience focusing on student career development and empowering diverse student populations. She believes career development is directly tied to social justice and has the power to elevate and disrupt cycles of poverty and oppression. At SIT, she enjoys amplifying this work on a global scale.

AC served as the career coach for internship programs at the Office of Career Services at the University of Tampa. Previously, she served as a career consultant for Northeastern Illinois University remotely for two years, and spent about five years at the University of Vermont as a career counselor. AC specializes in career development and management, from exploration to pivoting careers and everything in between. She enjoys chatting with students and alumni regarding their life goals.
