Amy Dwyer
Amy joined SIT Study Abroad as the senior director for custom and specialty programs in February 2024. She works alongside a talented team committed to creating tailored custom and professional engagement programming that aligns partner needs with SIT’s core values. With more than two decades of experience working in international education and exchange programs, she brings a strong background in developing and implementing strategies that enhance global student engagement and foster long term partnerships.
During her career, Amy held several leaderships positions at CIEE, where she oversaw institutional relations, iNext insurance, and U.S. high school exchange placement programs. She also served as PDSO and director of international students services at Quincy College where she developed creative recruitment strategies to increase international student enrollment and successfully support over 400 international students through their academic journey. Most recently, she served as the director of human resources and member of the executive team at Coastal Engineering Co.
Amy holds a bachelor’s of science in government from Suffolk University. She also participated in study abroad programs in London and the Czech Republic and returned to live in Prague for several years after graduation. Outside of work, Amy enjoys traveling, spending time at her family’s “camp” in central Maine, kayaking, reading, and learning new recipes to make for her family and friends.
