Marta Bujakowska, MA

Marta Bujakowska is a freelance teacher and teacher trainer from Poland with strong intercultural focus and special interest in reflective teaching and learner autonomy. Her teaching career started after her first trip abroad to England many years ago. She has been traveling extensively ever since. She completed her TEFLA certificate with International House; studied English at Silesian University in Poland; and obtained her MA from School for International Training in Vermont, USA. She has taught all ages and levels, which has helped her develop as a teacher and led her into teacher training. Currently, she works primarily with teachers to teach methodology and with teenagers and adult learners of English. She loves learning in a culturally diverse environment. Training and supervising teachers in Poland and abroad in Ireland and England brings substantial joy to her professional life. Marta has been a volunteer for IATEFL POLAND since 1994. She is a liaison officer with IATEFL partner associations. For the past three years she has also volunteered for IATEFL International on the  Associates Committee. She believes that teachers should feel their self-development is insatiable and that they should support one another in searching for new challenges.
