Karina Bilbao, MEd

Karina Bilbao holds a master’s degree in education, with expertise in intercultural communication competencies. She also holds a degree in cultural tourism management and a certificate in international studies. Bilbao worked in international affairs for several years at the University of Valparaíso and joined SIT Study Abroad in 2008. Within the program, she serves as assistant instructor for the Research Methods and Ethics course and is responsible for student affairs and program finances. Bilbao also draws on her own international experience, having been a high school exchange student in Utah and later completing an English as a Second Language program there after graduation.
