Zufan Hagos holds a BS in Secondary Education and Spanish from the University of Vermont and an MA in International Education from SIT Graduate Institute. She brings over 12 years professional experience in education, study abroad leadership, and operational management. Her work has focused on experiential learning, multicultural education, language acquisition, and service-learning, with an emphasis on diversity, equity, and inclusion. Before joining the Student Health, Safety & Wellbeing team, she served as program manager and assistant program director for SIT’s International Honors Program (IHP). Prior to SIT, Zufan worked with Putney Student Travel, National Geographic Student Expeditions, and the Center for International Studies designing, managing, and facilitating middle school, high school, and college-level programs in Central and South America, Europe, Africa, and the Caribbean.
