Rindrahatsarana Ramanankirahaina
Rindra is a scientist and educator who earned her PhD in zoology from the University of Veterinary Medicine in Hanover, Germany, and a DEA in animal biology from the University of Antananarivo, Madagascar. Her research interests focus on biology, animal ecology, and biodiversity conservation, with a specialty in lemurs.
Rindra has lectured at the University of Antananarivo and Institute of Higher Education of Antsirabe Vakinankaratra; worked with OpWall Madagascar, a conservation research organization; and Mikajy Natiora, a Madagascar-based conservation association that works to protect Malagasy endemic biodiversity by combining ecological research and local community action.
