Paula has a degree in psychology from Universidad Católica de Valparaíso, Chile, and she also graduated from a course in social inclusion policies with a territorial focus of FLACSO Chile and RIMISP, the Latin American Center with Territorial Approach. Paula has training and work experience on issues of public health, interculturality, indigenous peoples and their health, migration, and other similar topics. She joined the SIT-Arica team as academic coordinator in fall 2019. Previously, she was a guest lecturer of the program dating back to 2016. Prior to joining the SIT-Arica team, Paula was responsible for the Department of Health and Indigenous Peoples and Interculturality in the Region of Arica and Parinacota.
