Nombuso Mathibela
Nombuso Mathibela is a Johannesburg-based writer, activist educator, legal researcher, and vinyl collector. Her areas of interest span music, nationalist histories in Africa and the diaspora, feminist histories, and African philosophy. She has worked in the public interest sector, mainly with organizations that have sought to support grassroots movement struggles through political education. In 2019, Nombuso completed an LLM in Comparative Law, Economics, and Finance from the University of Turin in Italy. She spends her spare time reading African and Caribbean fiction and collecting music across seas, borders, and time.
