Manal Tahtamouni, MD

Dr. Tahtamouni was chief of health at UNICEF-Jordan and a public health officer at WHO-EMRO. She also served as director of the Institute of Family Health-Noor Al Hussein Foundation for 12 years. 

She has more than 15 years of national and regional experience in the field of program development and management with a special focus on health programming, sexual and reproductive health,  rights and sexual and gender-based violence, and child protection. She has diverse technical experience, managing more than 200 staff; large-scale project management for major donors including the EU, UNHCR, UNFPA, and USAID, among others; advocacy and coordination; and national and regional consultancy and training experience with ability to develop training packages, manuals, standard operating procedures, and protocols of care.
