Lynée Connelly, PhD

Lynée Connelly is the English Literature Professor for School Year Abroad in Rennes, France, and during summers, works at Phillips Andover Summer Session as the ELL Director. Previously, Lynée taught at Northfield Mount Hermon School as the director of ESL and in the Center for International Education for 8 years. She also served as a teaching assistant for the low-residency international education program at SIT as well as a classroom teaching assistant for the on-campus international education program. She has taught English in many countries around the world and created an ESL program for the Boston Red Sox Organization. Lynée Connelly holds a BA in linguistics and Italian, an MA in international education, and a Ph.D. in transformative studies. Her dissertation explored the Royal Thai Scholars program and its effect on the individual, society, education curriculum, and governmental sectors five years after the scholars return to Thailand.
