Goran Jovanovic, PhD

Goran Jovanovic holds a doctorate and master’s degree in international relations and development studies from The Graduate Institute of International Studies / University of Geneva, a graduate diploma in American studies from Smith College in Massachusetts, and a degree in sociology from the University of Belgrade. He has wide-ranging experience and expertise in international education. As a professor, Dr. Jovanovic focuses on globalization and global governance, international relations theories, foreign policy and diplomacy, international organizations, political communication, and strategic foresight. He has taught at the International University in Geneva and in business schools and universities in Afghanistan, Iran, and Saudi Arabia, among other places.

Dr. Jovanovic was international relations department head at the International University in Geneva and scientific director at the Research Center on Audiovisual Sources of Contemporary History at the Graduate Institute of International Studies in Geneva. He has published widely in international relations and political communication and produced many educational films and documentaries. He was a lecturer and ISP advisor for SIT before leading the SIT Banking, Finance, and Social Responsibility program in Switzerland.
