Craig McDonald lives with his family in Western Massachusetts and serves as the SIT university relations manager for southern New England and Ohio. Born and raised in northern New Jersey, he attended the University of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania and earned a BA in history with minors in Spanish and Latin American studies. While a student at Pitt, Craig completed a summer service-learning program in Cochabamba, Bolivia, and a semester abroad in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He later earned a master’s degree in adult education and community development from the University of Toronto in Canada, where he completed an internship working with newcomer youth programs at the Learning Enrichment Foundation. His career has included work as an institutional relations representative with Spanish Studies Abroad and a transfer counselor at Elms College, both in Massachusetts. He first joined SIT Study Abroad in September 2011 as an admissions counselor for programs in Latin America and assumed his current role in July 2016.
