Carlos (Charlie) Peña

Carlos is a specialist in tourism who has worked for many years promoting ecotourism with local and indigenous communities of the Madre de Dios region of Peru. He graduated from San Ignacio de Loyola University, Lima, and is an ecotourism master’s degree candidate at University of Agraria la Molina, Lima. Since 2006, Carlos has been assistant professor in ecotourism undergraduate studies at the Amazonian University of Madre de Dios (UNAMAD). In 2015, Carlos did an internship at the Center of Latin American Studies at University of Florida, Gainesville.
