Anna Wallis

Anna is the student officer and program coordinator at SIT Amsterdam. She holds an MA and an MS in sociology with a specialization in migration, gender and sexuality. She is interested in constructions of LGBTQ+ identities, queer theory, bordering practices and “othering” of migrants in reference to the nation-state. Anna also does advocacy and casework with asylum seekers and undocumented migrants in Amsterdam. In her spare time, she enjoys modern dance and dying her hair different colors.
