Anelí Gómez Lovatón, IMAS

Anelí Gómez Lovatón, born in Cuzco, is an environmental engineer (Agrarian University of Peru – UNALM) and holds an international executive master’s degree in development and globalization from the Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva, Switzerland. In addition to a diploma in environmental impact studies from the National School of Environmental Studies, Anelí also has a specialization in environmental education from Católica University of Peru. She also studies climate change adaptation in Thailand with which she has been able to develop her career in these fields linked to natural resource management, with the approach of ecosystem-based adaptation (EbA). She has worked in academic and intercultural research contexts with the Indigenous peoples of the Andes and the Amazon, strengthening capacities and developing methodological proposals for environmental education.
