Amanda has been the university relations coordinator and manager for Ohio since August 2018 and is based in Brattleboro, Vermont. She holds an important role in supporting the entire University Relations team, coordinating individual site visits, and serving as liaison to colleges and universities in Ohio. Prior to joining SIT, Amanda was a staffing specialist for Reliable Temps Inc. in Massachusetts, where she was born and raised. Amanda is an alumna of one of SIT’s year-long International Honors Programs, Beyond Globalization: Reclaiming Nature, Culture, and Justice, and holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies from Framingham State University. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Sustainable Development through SIT Graduate Institute. Amanda began studying and traveling abroad at the early age of 13 and has had the opportunity to visit many countries around the world, both with SIT and as part of various volunteer experiences, including India, Tanzania, Ghana, Greece, Ecuador, and New Zealand.
