Abdessamad Ait Dada (Samad), MA
Samad organizes all logistical aspects of the SIT program. He holds a master’s degree in communication and marketing from the Institute for Leadership and Communication Studies in Rabat and a bachelor’s in English Studies from Mohamed V University in Rabat with a minor in anthropology. He received a certificate in social studies from the Netherlands Institute Morocco and has researched attitudes toward mother tongues in Morocco. Originally from Zagora in southeastern Morocco, Samad speaks English and Arabic in addition to his mother tongue, Amazigh. Previously, Samad worked as coordinator and leader of international programs for several organizations in Rabat. He was a Language and Culture Facilitator for the Peace Corps Morocco teaching Moroccan Arabic and culture to U.S. volunteers. Samad is passionate about traveling, hiking, working in a multicultural environment and meeting people from different backgrounds.
