Affiliation Agreements
SIT Study Abroad has affiliation agreements with many US colleges and universities. A billing agreement is not required for affiliation, nor is there any fee to affiliate with SIT Study Abroad. However, in order to establish a billing procedure with your institution, a written agreement must be signed. Benefits of affiliation include a formal partnership and closer interaction with SIT Study Abroad programs and staff, and the ability to customize some billing and admissions procedures, including creation of a list of approved SIT programs at your institution, if so desired. Affiliations may be customized to the needs of individual schools and can be negotiated with your University Relations Manager.
Consortium Agreements
We recognize that some colleges and universities require a consortium agreement to transfer financial aid for students. These may be forwarded to the SIT Financial Aid Office for completion and return. If the consortium agreement must be completed immediately please notify our University Relations Managers or financial aid staff, otherwise these agreements are done in batches and generally returned within a month.
