The Port Elizabeth SIT TESOL course is offered at the university in sight of the Atlantic Ocean. Practice teaching occurs in the local township to Xhosa speaking mothers as well as to international and Xhosa-speaking students on campus. The Eastern Cape is rich in struggle heritage as well as indigenous wildlife with Addo Elephant Park within an hour’s drive and dolphins and whales frolicking off the coast. Accommodation can be arranged within walking distance of campus and the beach front.
