Your Next Steps

To ensure your place in the upcoming class at SIT, you will need to complete the following steps. If you have any questions, please contact your admissions officer directly or admissions@sit.edu.

Deadlines

Program
I-20 Deadline
Financial Aid
International Education Low Residency, Summer 2014 April 15, 2014 Students must submit their enrollment deposit within 2 weeks of financial aid award notification.
TESOL Low Residency, Summer 2014 May 15, 2014 Students must submit their enrollment deposit within 2 weeks of financial aid award notification.

Financial Aid
If you have not yet applied for financial aid, this is an important next step.  If you do not intend to apply for financial aid, please notify your admissions officer directly or contact admissions@sit.edu.

Financial Aid applications and instructions:

Submitting Your Deposit
For US Citizens and Permanent Residents
To secure your place in the incoming class, you must complete and return the Enrollment Form (PDF) with your $400 non-refundable deposit payment within two weeks of your financial award notification. The deposit may be submitted through our online application system or by completing the Credit Card Authorization Form below.

Submitting Your Deposit
For International Students
Because international students in SIT's low residency MA programs must pay their first semester tuition and fees as part of their student visa process, SIT does not require the $400 deposit payment for international students in these programs. Instead, international students in SIT's low residency MA programs in TESOL and international education should review the information concerning student visas and focus their efforts on completing the necessary steps to obtain their I-20 and student visa.

After You Have Reserved Your Place

Once you have submitted your enrollment form and deposit payment (US students and Permanent Residents only), you should begin completing the other necessary forms listed below. Please note that these forms will not be processed until your deposit payment is received or, for international students, until you have completed the required steps to obtain your I-20 form.

Housing
Please complete this housing agreement if you would like to live on campus during your residency:

On-Campus Housing
For students who wish to live on-campus during your residency, the Housing Deposit form and $100 deposit payment are required.

Off-Campus Housing in Vermont

Disability Services
SIT Disability Services facilitates an accessible educational experience for students with disabilities and serves as a resource to all members of the academic community.
