Your Next Steps
To ensure your place in the upcoming class at SIT, you will need to complete the following steps. If you have any questions, please contact your Admissions Counselor directly or admissions@sit.edu
Deadlines
Semester |
I-20 Deadline | Financial Aid |
|---|---|---|
| Summer 2013 | May 1, 2013 | Students must submit their enrollment deposit within 2 weeks of financial aid award notification. |
Financial Aid
If you have not yet applied for financial aid, this is an important next step. If you do not intend to apply for financial aid, please notify your Admissions Counselor directly or contact admissions@sit.edu.
Financial Aid applications and instructions:
Submitting Your Deposit
For US Citizens and Permanent Residents
To secure your place in the incoming class, you must complete and return the Enrollment Form (PDF) with your $400 non-refundable deposit payment within two weeks of your financial award notification.
- Enrollment Form (PDF)
- Credit Card Authorization Form (PDF)
Students not applying for/receiving financial aid: Please deposit on or before December 15, 2012 for the spring 2013 semester, and May 3, 2013 for the summer 2013 semester.
Submitting Your Deposit
For International Students
Because international students in SIT's Low Residency MA in TESOL must pay their first semester tuition and fees as part of their student visa process, SIT does not require the $400 deposit payment for international students in this program. Instead, international students in SIT's Low Residency MA in TESOL should review the information concerning student visas and focus their efforts on completing the necessary steps to obtain their I-20 and student visa.
International students in SIT’s Low Residency MA in International Education are not required to obtain a student visa, and should complete and return the Enrollment Form (PDF) with the $400 non-refundable deposit payment within two weeks of financial award notification.
After You Have Reserved Your Place
Once you have submitted your enrollment form and deposit payment (US students and Permanent Residents only), you should begin completing the other necessary forms listed below. Please note that these forms will not be processed until your deposit payment is received or, for international students, until you have completed the required steps to obtain your I-20 form.
