Your Next Steps
If you have not yet applied for financial aid, this is an important next step. If you do not intend to apply for financial aid, please notify your admissions officer directly or contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Financial Aid applications and instructions:
Students must submit their enrollment deposit within two weeks of financial aid award notification.
The deadline for international students to apply for an I-20 visa form is July 15.
Submitting Your Deposit
For US Citizens and Permanent Residents
To secure your place in the incoming class, you must complete and return the Enrollment Form (PDF) with your $400 nonrefundable deposit payment within two weeks of your financial award notification. The deposit may be submitted through our online application system or by completing the Credit Card Authorization Form below.
Submitting Your Deposit
For International Students
International students must pay their first semester tuition and fees as part of their student visa process, therefore SIT does not require the $400 deposit payment for international students. International students should review the information concerning student visas and focus their efforts on completing the necessary steps to obtain their I-20 and student visa.
After You Have Reserved Your Place
Once you have submitted your enrollment form and deposit payment (US students and permanent residents only), you should begin completing the other necessary forms listed below. Please note that these forms will not be processed until your deposit payment is received or, for international students, until you have completed the required steps to obtain your I-20 form.
If you received your undergraduate degree from a university outside of the US, you must submit a copy of your immunization record. Please complete and return the following form to Cheryl Pennie Williams, student health administrator, at email@example.com or fax to 802 258-3296.
Please be aware that students will not be allowed to register for or attend classes without medical clearance.
If you attended undergraduate college or university in the US, you do not need to submit an immunization record to SIT.Housing
SIT does not provide housing to students at the Washington, DC Center. However, students can use these Washington, DC, housing resources:
- If you have insurance that you will be using while at SIT, please fill out the Online Waiver Form on the Bollinger Insurance website.
- Please note: SIT student insurance is provided by Bollinger Insurance. Students interested in obtaining insurance during their course of study at SIT should visit Bollinger's websitefor comprehensive information related to enrollment, claims and coverage, network providers, and other topics.
- Students should contact Bollinger directly at 800 526-1379 for all insurance-related questions and concerns. Students may also contact Stephen Sweet, Assistant Dean of Students and Director of Campus Life at SIT Graduate Institute, at 802 258-3361 or firstname.lastname@example.org with questions.
