We invite you to visit SIT in Vermont or Washington, DC for either an Open House or a personalized visit. Visits in Vermont typically include a class observation, campus tour with a current student, and a meeting with one of our admissions counselors.
Vermont Open Houses
Open House events held on SIT’s Vermont campus typically run from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, providing an immersive opportunity to:
- Discover how SIT can help you meet your educational and career goals
- Meet faculty, staff, and alumni
- Talk to current students
- Explore the beautiful campus
- Be our guest for lunch at SIT's Stephen and Nita Lowey International Center dining hall
Washington, DC Open Houses
Open house events in Washington, DC are held in the evening typically from 6 – 7 PM. Events provide an excellent opportunity for prospective students to learn firsthand about SIT’s Sustainable Development program based in DC. Faculty and current students are on hand to help answer your questions.

Directions to SIT's Vermont Campus: Take exit 3 off I-91 (North or South) in Vermont. Turn south on Route 5 and follow the signs for SIT Graduate Institute and World Learning.
Directions to SIT's Washington, DC Center: The SIT Graduate Institute Washington, DC Center is located at the World Learning offices at 1015 15th Street, NW, Washington, DC 20005. The offices are on the 7th floor. The Metro Stop is McPherson Square.
