Counseling Services
Overview
The mission of SIT Counseling Services is to provide a broad range of mental health and support services that assist students in participating fully and effectively in the SIT community. When appropriate, support is offered in partnership with other resource persons within SIT and through referral to providers within the Brattleboro area. Counseling is based on a collaborative approach between counselor and client, taking into consideration the diverse needs of persons from varied cultures, backgrounds, identities, and interests.
Consultation, training, and support is also available to SIT/World Learning staff and faculty regarding mental health issues within the academic community.
