As a graduate student at SIT, you may be able to combine nonprofit service with graduate education and receive tuition scholarships and/or other benefits.
- Peace Corps Paul D. Coverdell Fellows Program.
For returned Peace Corps Volunteers. SIT students who are selected to be Paul D. Coverdell Fellows receive a $5,000 tuition scholarship plus room and board at SIT's campus in Vermont during the first academic year (presently valued at $8,315) or equivalent scholarship ($13,315). - Peace Corps Master’s International Program.
For individuals interested in pursuing Peace Corps Service and graduate school. Students complete Peace Corps service for their SIT practicum and receive a 50 percent practicum scholarship. - AmeriCorps VISTA Program.
For individuals looking to combine AmeriCorps service with graduate school. Opportunities are available for individuals who have completed service with AmeriCorps, as well as individuals looking to complete AmeriCorps service and graduate education at SIT concurrently. - City Year “Give a Year” Partnership.
For City Year corps members, alumni, and staff. Benefits could include: annual 25% tuition scholarship; application fee waiver; one-year enrollment deferral. - OXFAM Partnership.
For current and past OXFAM CHANGE Leader or Group Leader volunteers who have completed one year of OXFAM service. Eligible individuals receive $1,000 tuition scholarship to SIT per year of service. - Greenpeace Partnership.
For current and past Greenpeace volunteers who have completed three months of Greenpeace service. Eligible individuals receive a $1,000 tuition scholarship per three months of service with Greenpeace.
