Medical Information
Students who do not have their own medical insurance will be added to the SIT student insurance plan with First Health Network. Through this plan students select a primary care physician who will see students for regular medical checkups and concerns.

There is no urgent care facility in Brattleboro. If you are ill and need to see a doctor right away call your primary care physician and request an appointment. If your primary care physician does not have availability you can be seen at the Brattleboro Memorial Hospital emergency room.
In the event of a medical emergency, dial 911 (7-911 from a campus phone) to be taken to the emergency room by ambulance.
