Training Design for Experiential Learning
June 13-15, 2008
SIT Campus, Brattleboro, Vermont
Instructor: Ryland White
Training Design for Experiential Learning (TDEL) is a 'foundations' workshop designed to introduce participants to the concepts and principles of training as related to the process of adult education. The field of experientially based training design is integral and applicable to diverse work environments, including those related to international education.
This training workshop is recommended for individuals interested in becoming trainers, continuing on as trainers, or who, as managers, might find themselves working closely with trainers or consultants.
Although this workshop is primarily a design workshop, participants taking the course for credit will have an opportunity within the day and a half workshop to actually apply some of the training design concepts discussed. All participants will have an opportunity to develop and practice feedback skills.
Please note that workshop attendees will be responsible for finding their own off-campus accommodations. More information about travel and lodging.
Saturday lunch is included in the workshop cost. For other meals, SIT Graduate Institute’s cafeteria will be open to attendees, and there are also a variety of restaurant options nearby.
