Child Labor Education and Action Project (CLEA)

Since January 2000, the Child Labor Education and Action Project (CLEA) has prepared youth advocates to eradicate abusive child labor, developed models for education and action, and promoted citizen leadership to strengthen child labor reform initiatives.

CLEA is a partnership between the SIT Graduate Institute and Brattleboro Union High School. It was created in 1999 with federal funding obtained by Vermont Congressman Bernie Sanders and in collaboration with the AFL-CIO Solidarity Center.
