Language Classes
We offer two semesters of language classes and a January Intensive session at our Brattleboro campus. We offer Chinese, French, Spanish and Swahili at various levels and add other languages based on student interest and instructor availability. Most beginning level classes are offered during the fall semester.
Tuition for Chinese and Swahili classes is free for the 2010-11 academic year.
Fall and Spring Semester Classes
Classes meet Tuesday and Thursdays at 3:30-5:15 p.m. or 6:30-8:15 p.m. Classes that meet twice a week carry two undergraduate credits.Semester Dates:

Fall and Spring Semester Tuition
For classes that meet twice a week, credit tuition is $1,338.00 for two undergraduate credits; non-credit tuition is $668.00.
For seniors 62 and older, non-credit tuition is $501.00 for a class that meets twice-a-week.
January Intensives
We offer one-to-two week January intensive classes. January Intensives meet Monday through Friday 9:00 A.M.-4:00 P.M.
Week 1: Monday-Friday, Jan. 3-7, 2011
Week 2: Monday-Friday, Jan. 10-14, 2011
If you want to register for just one week, it must be Week One. Each week carries one undergraduate credit.
January Intensive Tuition
Credit tuition is $669.00 for a one-week intensive class and $1,338.00 for the two-week option.
Non-credit tuition is $334.00 per week.
For seniors 62 and older, non-credit tuition is $250.50 per week.
Registration
Community members may enroll in LCD courses on a space-available basis.
Minimum age is 17.
If you wish to take a class at a level other than beginning (1000), contact us for a placement test.
Course schedules are subject to change, and classes may be cancelled due to insufficient enrollment. We'll notify you if space is available in your requested class as we receive your application.
