Paula Green holds graduate degrees in intergroup relations and counseling psychology. A member of the SIT Graduate Institute faculty since 1995, she teaches courses in conflict transformation and peacebuilding and codirects SIT Graduate Institute CONTACT (Conflict Transformation Across Cultures) Summer Peacebuilding Program and graduate certificate programs. Green founded and directs the Karuna Center for Peacebuilding, an NGO focused on conflict transformation, intercommunal dialogue, and reconciliation. Coeditor of Psychology and Social Responsibility: Facing Global Challenges and a frequent consultant, Green leads peacebuilding seminars and facilitates intergroup dialogue in war-torn and war-threatened communities worldwide.
