Teacher Training and Professional Development Institute hiatus
Overview
The Teacher Training and Professional Development Institute provides professional development courses and workshops which focus on a variety of topics pertinent to language teachers and others working in intercultural contexts. In addition, some Institute courses are designed for teachers who have taken on mentoring, supervision, or teacher-training responsibilities.
Some Institute courses are taught on the SIT campus in Brattleboro, Vermont; others are taught entirely on-line and can be taken from anywhere in the world.
The SIT Graduate Institute grants a Certificate of Teacher Professional Development upon successful completion of six Institute courses. 1.5 CEUs (Continuing Education Units) can be awarded for each TTI course completed.
