Jennifer Collins-Foley, JD, is a democracy, governance, and gender specialist with 24 years of experience in the US and around the world. She serves as senior practitioner faculty with the World Learning/SIT Graduate Institute international sustainable development Master of Arts program in Washington, DC, where she teaches the courses Issues in Sustainable Development; Program Design and Management; Gender, Human Rights, and Development; and Grantwriting.
Collins-Foley currently serves as the senior gender and development associate with Juarez and Associates, Inc. She has worked extensively on democracy assistance, women’s political empowerment, and gender equality issues in the former Soviet Union, the Middle East, and North Africa, including senior positions with the National Democratic Institute (NDI), the Center for National Policy (CNP), the US Election Assistance Commission, the Los Angeles County Registrar of Voters, the International Foundation for Election Systems (IFES), the Pew Charitable Trusts, World Learning, CEDPA, Vital Voices, and the United Nations Centre on Transnational Corporations. She holds a BA from St. Michael’s College in Colchester, Vermont, and a JD from Union University/Albany Law School.
